EDUCATION
We provide expert and informed services to all of our clients. As a result, each SSOL counselor invests regularly in continuing education.
We are kept abreast of the latest news, interventions, and information regarding mental health, substance abuse, addictions, vocational planning, aptitude testing, community service, and client and caregiver support through extensive research, professional networking, and attending workshops, to name a few.
PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
We believe that every man, woman, or child is unique and, as a result, consultation and strategic relationships are necessary for change to occur.
We value relationships inside and outside of the office. If clients are amenable, we eagerly partner with medical professionals, family members, school personnel, friends, and other clinicians to form a triage team for the development of effective treatment plans and successful outcomes.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
We at SSOL are genuinely interested in getting to know our clients. They are our first priority. As a result, we effectively use client-centered therapy to help clients understand who they are and why they are hurting.
Before a diagnosis or symptom management process is discussed, we confer with the client to learn their view on life and their perception of their current state of mind and health.
