Meet Sharon! Work/Place at E-Commerce Center of Hampton Community Manager
Sharon joined Tower Park Management Corporation in 2012 and became the Community Manager at Work/Place at E-Commerce Center of Hampton in 2018. When Sharon is not coordinating tours, helping businesses obtain office space at Work/Place or tending the needs of our members, you can find her taking group classes at One Life Fitness or spending quality time with friends. What motivates you to work hard?
Gratification, joy and connection.
What do you love about Work/Place?
I love being part of a product that brings various businesses together to help one another succeed. The sense of community is caring as well as productive. Hands down, the best job ever!
If you were given $50,000 to start a business, what would you start?
I would start a non-profit sanctuary for dogs and farm animals that have been abused and abandoned and provide for them the life they truly deserve.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Healthy, happy and thriving at Work/Place!
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Expect nothing but grateful for everything.
What is your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
Coming home to my pets Lucy (dog) and Miles (cat).

What are you currently binge-watching on Netflix?
The last Netflix binge was Stranger Things.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can clog!
Would you say you are more left-brained (analytical/methodical) or right-brained (creative/artistic)?
I lean more towards the right side.
If you woke up and had 2,000 unread emails and could only answer 300 of them, how would you choose which ones to answer?
Work and family.
If you could be your team’s top performer but everyone would dislike you, or an average performer but everyone liked you, which would you prefer?
Somewhere in between. I strive to produce while getting along with my colleagues. I feel you can be both.
If you were a Microsoft Office program, which one would you be?
Outlook – I am all about connecting and relationships.
